Woman's Economic Empowerment and Resources, will provide supports for economically disadvantaged women in San Antonio,Texas to achieve and sustain the independence that strengthens families.
Description:
Woman's Economic Empowerment and Resources, offers many services to individuals that would like to get back into the workforce, or to get the extended education, that leads to independence that will strengthen families. We are in place to help the disadvantage individual to prepare to reenter into the work force and prepare themselves for job interviews or perhaps, the need to find resources to help with career counseling,parenting skills, to help themselves be better prepared to assist that child in the family for a better education or,perhaps there is a need for information with regards to elderly care,there are those who are embarking upon this situation more than ever in the past several years. Woman's Economic Empowerment and Resources will also guide individuals in the direction of the many community resources for the individual needs. Woman's Economic Empowerment and Resources are in the process of planning a fundraiser for this new business and we are needing volunteers that can make phone calls, have motivating ideas, etc. AT this time the business is out of my home, what that means is that the volunteer can work from their home also, until we enter into a building. History:
Our Agency is a brand new agency, really still working out the kinks with networking, finding a space, raising the money to help with our needs, in February of 2006 we became an official non profit organization. We are looking forward to joining the community and helping others achieve their dreams.
