Our Mission:

ArtistiKIDS! is a year-round, visual arts program for children 5-13 years of age including "at risk". The ArtistiKIDS! program aims to provide an informal yet intensive visual arts curriculum that helps develop problem solving skills, build confidence, emphasize learning through fun, foster the imagination, and encourage individual creativity. Benefits of participation include: professional art instruction, access to quality art materials, opportunities to interact with peers that share similar abilities and interests, and a venue for displaying their work.

Our Philosophy:

ArtistiKIDS! provides a structured and supportive environment in which students critically engage in viewing, talking about and making works of art. Perception and imagination are realized through instruction and exploration of various media: drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and basic animation techniques.

History:
ArtistiKIDS! was established in New Orleans, LA in March 2005 but was displaced due to devastating damages caused by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. In January 2006 ArtistiKIDS! obtained 501c3 Fiscal Agent Sponsorship from Fractured Atlas and was re-established in San Antonio July 2006. Donations on behalf of ArtistiKIDS! are TAX DEDUCTABLE!
