We affirm that every homeless pregnant or parenting adolescent should have a nurturing home that encourages the highest level of personal, intellectual and spiritual development for the mother and child.

Description:
Seton Home is a residential home that provides a safe and nurturing environment and educational opportunities for homeless pregnant and parenting teens.

The Seton Home Program provides educational, spiritual, psychological, motivational, and other resources to homeless pregnant and parenting adolescent mothers so that these new mothers can make informed decisions regarding their will being and that of their child. The goal is to empower adolescent girls who are parenting to be self-determined as parents and as individuals.

History:
Established in 1981, Seton Home's goal is to help homeless pregnant and parenting adolescents progress from crisis to self-sufficiency through a model of care that provides hope and a brighter future for teens and their babies, and helps interrupt the cyclical pattern of teenage pregnancy, child abuse and neglect. Seton Home's services are designed to promote the delivery of a healthy child; provide secondary, and post-secondary education and job skills training opportunities; foster the development of high quality early childhood parenting skills; promote personal and spiritual growth; and help high-risk teens become responsible and productive citizens.
