The Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center (BCDRC) provides mediation services for individuals or businesses in Bexar County having some type of problem or involved in some type of dispute or conflict. Referral information for additional appropriate resources is also available. Individuals living outside Bexar County are eligible for BCDRC services if the dispute is with an individual or business located in Bexar County. All services are provided at no charge.
Description:
The Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center mediates, at no charge, civil disputes such as those between businesses and customers, landlords and tenants, neighbors, friends, or family members, including parents dealing with child visitation concerns. Information is also offered about governmental, legal, social service, or community services which might also be helpful in dealing with the dispute. Mediation helps the parties reach a mutually acceptable agreement with the assistance of a neutral third party, the mediator, and helps avoid the expense of going to court. Center hours are Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All services are available in English and Spanish. For more information, call (210) 335-2128.
