Our mission is to provide social services that enhance the culture, health,quality of life and progress of individuals and families in the community.

Description:
Services offered include: Food, clothing, after-school and summer programs, Kid's Cafe, youth leadership training, organized and recreational sports, monthly chess tournaments,wellness and fitness, teen alcohol/drug abuse counseling,Ballet Folklorico dance and cultural enrichment programs.

History:
Founded in 1940 by the Sister of Charity of the Incarnate Word, today the Center is under the Direction of a non profit board of directors and executive director, serving families in the West Side of San Antonio, who are suffering from ill health, lack of education, food and clothing, under or unemployed, increase in juvenile crime, teen pregnancy and school drop out, family/domestic violence and illiteracy.
