We assist women of low income who are going through serious life transition to find clothing for job interviews, school and work opportunities. We work to give these women a positive self image and optimism for the road ahead.

Description:
Our Sister's Closet working women's clothing bank is based in the YWCA building. We accept and sort donations of women's clothing from the community in order to provide our clients with clean, appropriate clothing for all kinds of work and school opportunities. Women come to us by appointment and leave with shoes, toiletries and good clothing, enough to be well dressed for any work. We provide positive critical feedback about fit and appropriate dress for day and work wear. Women may receive recommendations for clothing they might not choose at first, but appreciate when they try things on.

History:
Over fifteen years ago, Our Sister's Closet started as the clothing bank for the Domestic Violence Shelter based in the YWCA. Our service population now includes any low income woman who is going through a major life crisis that requires a new job or job skill in the general Spokane area.
