To provide young children with an atmosphere that is safe and positve which will ultimately enhance them in all develpomental areas. To show sensitivity to multi- cultural customs and allow children to effectively use technologies while simultaneously showing commitment to promote a leaning environment that is diverse, creattive, and stimulating.
Description:
We are after an school program. Our goal is for the children to have individuals thoroughly read, explain homework assignments and answer questios they do not understand. Assist them in homework completion in a timely manner. We motivate the children to finish homework. Help them review spelling words and recite poems. Also help them in math, science and social studies. If there are any other interest one would like to share with the children that will assit them in thier deveolpment, we would be glad to welcome it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! History:
After School Achievers is a non profit organization that prcvides after school care and summer camp for young chldren. The program started in June 2002. During the past 5 years we were able to substain. We are proud of our progress however we realize we need the help of the community to be sucessful.
