Trinity Hospice offers palliative care and support services to terminally ill patients and their families. We provide quality, comprehensive hospice care while remaining focused on meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones.
Description:
Trinity Hospice focuses on the philosophy that embraces death as a natural part of the cycle of life. We recognize that each patient is unique. Every patient and family member wants to make decisions regarding patient care. With the expert guidance and counseling of our Hospice Team, the decisions made by the patient and family help create an atmosphere of comfort, understanding and acceptance. Our volunteers are a vital part of the Hospice Team. Volunteers need to give us a minimum of 3 hours of service per month, either making hospitality visits to our patients and/or family members or by working in our office assisting administratively. We do our best to match our volunteer to our patients in regard to mutual interests and convenient locations. Volunteers help make the final days of the patients' life more fulfilling.
History:
Since it's 1998 founding, Trinity Hospice has rapidly expanded through both internal growth and acquisition. In 2006, National senior living services provider Sunrise Senior Living,Inc. acquired Trinity. Today the company, with the corporate offices based in Dallas, TX., is already operating from 24 locations throughout the U.S. and is in the process of opening 10 new centers. The overall company employs over 800 people, while serving over 1,000 patients each month.
