United Urban Ministries helps homeless and needy families by providing food assistance 365 days a year.
Description:
United Urban Ministries not only serves the public by providing food resources during the holidays. We pride ourselves in serving the homeless community by providing food boxes to families from Griffin all the way up to Gwinnett County.
History:
UUM has been in existence since July 2006. Beginning its service to the homeless at Woodruff Park in downtown Atlanta serving the homeless in the park Monday through Friday each day of the week, to providing boxes of food to needy families all over the Metro area. UUM also provides some transportation and payee services.
