On November 8th, Children's Restoration Network will be holding a Career Preparation Workshop for women at "My Sister's House", 921 Howell Mill Rd. in Atlanta. The workshop will focus on 4 topics: interview skills, correctly filling out a job application, resume creation or updating, and creating e mail accounts. The time is 8:30 AM till 4:30 PM. Help with resume building and job application is 8:30AM till Noon, help with improving interview skills is 1PM till 4:30PM. We also need 8 Group Leaders that can stay for the whole day and be in charge of smaller groups (10 to 12 women). We expect about 70 women to attend. People with Human Resource skills, or strong business experience are perfect for this job. We also need 30 babysitters for the women participating who have young children. Shifts for babysitting are 8:15 till Noon and 1:00 till 4:30. . 10 people to type up the resumes are needed from 10:30AM till 2PM. Make a difference in the lives of women who are struggling to get back on there feet- a good job is the best defense in the battle against homelessness. And remember when you help these women you are also helping their children- and our community.

For the workshop itself Human Resource skills or a strong business background is a necessity. For help with lunch or babysitting you just have to be a caring individual.
