This is an opportunity to tutor youth in kindergarten through eighth grade in our after-school program. The program operates Monday-Friday 2:30PM -6:00PM according to the Atlanta Public Schools Schedule. Our students are picked up from our feeder schools, C.W. Hill Elementary, John Hope Elementary, and Walden Middle School. Our program includes snack and free-time, homework hour, and break-out centers where the students are able to have fun activities surrounding educational themes of math, reading, writing, and legos mindstorm projects. The students also attend fieldtrips such as bowling, skating, and park trips.

We ask that volunteers fill out a volunteer packet (includes a national background check), and attend an volunteer orientation session.

We want the volunteers to have positive and rewarding experiences with the children and the overall program. The volunteers come with their own fresh ideas and new perspectives that inspire the children to see beyond what is around them daily.

This opportunity is sponsored by: Operation P.E.A.C.E.,Inc.
