Habitat Needs Volunteers For MLK Jr. Day
On January 19, 2009, Habitat for Humanity is looking for 20 volunteers from 9am-3pm to help us build a home for one of our families for "Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service". Must be 16 years of age or older.

MLK, Jr. Day - "A Day On, Not A Day Off" - Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club

Free Tax Preparation Site Volunteers Being Recruited
Creating Assets, Savings and Hope (C.A.S.H.) of Buffalo & Erie County is recruiting volunteers for a variety of opportunities to provide free tax preparation services at local sites. The program also brings millions of dollars into the community via tax refunds and credits. Volunteers help families complete their taxes and find helpful services. Various volunteer opportunities: greeters, CASH advisors, tax preparers and others. SPRING STREAM CLEANUP - Plan Ahead!
Buffalo Niagara Riverkeeper sponsors two large regional-wide cleanups of local rivers, streams, & lakes. Online registration for the April 18, 2009 event will open in February, 2009.
