Our mission is to create the conditions under which persons with Learning Disabilities, Neurological Impairments, Developmental Disabilities and Disabilities with similar multiple service needs experience:

Opportunities to make choices,Opportunities to develop and achieve independence,Good health and a secure personal future. Respect and dignity. Participation in the community. Relationships with family members, friends, and neighbors.

Description:
For over thirty years, the Learning Disabilities Association of Western New York (LDA of WNY), a parent-sponsored, non-profit agency, has been dedicated to the improvement of the quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities in Western New York.

The following services are offered to benefit individuals with learning disabilities and their families in the WNY area. Recreational Services (Children/Adult), Latchkey, Family Support Services, Parent Training, Information and Referral Services, Case Management Services, Transitional Services, Educational Advocacy, Crisis Intervention, Adult Vocational Services, Supported Employment, Residential Services: Supervised, Supportive and Respite, The Learning Center: GED Preparation Classes, Computer Training Classes, Academic Enrichment Services, Remedial Academic Instruction, Summer Remedial Instruction, Computer Training for LD Adults.
