Help us help 2008 Midwest Flood victims! Research using the Internet and the local phone book to find listings of local resources for those who may be in need. These may include organizations such as food pantries, clothing or furniture banks, emergency shelters, and thrift stores, etc. and upload these to the files and links sections on the Angels In Action forum to our resource files for public use. May check local news sites and upload timely news reports about the situation on local disasters such as floods, tornadoes, wildfires, etc. to the Angels in Action forum and keep the group aware of locals in need and of what is happening. Also check the local craigslist.org/volunteers site and any local forums for any local needs following a disaster in your area and relay those needs to the Resource Director.

Must be computer literate with strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word. Familiarity with yahoo groups and other forums is a plus. Able to work independently and willing to do research or make calls. High speed Internet a plus. Training will be provided.
