You can make a difference in a child's life for only one to two hours per week. The Youth Mentoring Program seeks to improve the reading and social skills of students in grades 4-8. Our goal is to improve these students' ability and enjoyment of reading, while fostering their capacity to form and maintain productive relationships. Volunteers typically spend 2 hours a week for a 12 month commitment. Volunteers are accepted all year long! NO experience necessary!

Qualification/Skills: No experience necessary! Literacy Volunteers will provide you with the knowledge, skills and materials to work intensely in a one-to-one setting with a student.
