Easy Does It Inc. is a non profit charitable organization
dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals
and families recovering from the effects of addiction, thus contributing to the betterment of our community
and society as a whole.

Description:
Easy Does It provides services to individuals and families recovering from the effects of addiction. These services include transitional and permanent housing that includes individual case management, transportation, food and other supports necessary to help residents transition to a more self-supporting lifestyle. Easy Does It also provides a variety of services and events for all individuals and families recovering from the effects of addiction. Some of these are social and informational events such as dances, or gender specific social support programs. For more information please call Tommy Scornavacchi at 610-898-7910.

History:
We currently operate two facilities in Berks County. Our first, the Easy Does It Clubhouse, is located at 647 Walnut Street, Reading, PA. A fixture of Reading’s recovering community for the past 15 years, the Clubhouse was opened in 1989 and has remained open every day, seven days a week (including holidays) ever since. Over 10,000 people walk through its doors each month.

In 2001, Easy Does It opened our second facility, the Recovery Community Center in Bern Township, at 1300 Hilltop Road, Leesport, PA. The Recovery Community Center, along with The Walnut Street Clubhouse, provide a variety of services including: Supportive and Emergency Housing; space for 12 step recovery meetings; educational, skill-building and life-enhancement programs for adults and children; and numerous drug and alcohol free recreational and social events. Our premier annual social event is Soberstock, an all day drug and alcohol free music festival started in 1998.
