The mission of FOCUS (For Our Children Understanding Success)is to prevent youth crime and violence through neighborhood-based mentoring, tutoring, education, career awareness, parental support, arts and recreation programs.

Description:
The FOCUS Team provides after-school mentoring and tutoring to 25 young people identified by Church leaders and school personnel in the Weed and Seed project area of Northwest Reading.

The after-school program will operate from Monday through Friday from 4:00 - 7:00p.m. starting in mid-October.

Additionally, we aim to provide resources to the general community through job-training and other workshops, ESL classes, and through the facilitation of resident meetings.
