Description:
The Volunteer Center of United Way recruits volunteers for long term, one time, and short term volunteer positions. Referrals are made to over 200 non-profit agencies and organizations throughout Berks County. The Volunteer Center offers technical assistance to other non-profits on volunteer related issues - including volunteer recruitment, retention, and recognition. The Volunteer Center promotes volunteerism by coordinating several Volunteer initiatives such as Volunteer Fairs, The United Way Day of Caring, Dr. Martin Luther King Day, Holiday Breakfast Baskets, and more.
