To provide high quality home health and hospice care based on the healing ministries of Christ to individuals in their place of residence. Care to be provided is based upon client and community needs and is available to all ages regardless of national origin, religion, sex, age, race, handicap or financial status. All care is provided in accordance with agency standards.

Description:
Covenant Home Care is meeting the demand for homebound residents of Schuylkill and Berks Counties. Covenant provides in-home skilled nursing, home health aide, physical, occupational, and speech therapies, medical social services for all its home health patients. In addition to the above services, chaplain services, and volunteer services are extended to hospice patients, as are pharmacy and durable medical equipment. Covenant is a charitable not-for-profit organization. Its mission is to provide compassionate care that reinforces an individuals autonomy, while preserving a person ability to stay at their home for the duration their care.

History:
Covenant Home Care has been providing services in Schuylkill County since 1977 formerly as Holy Family Home Health. In 1986 Holy Family opened its branch office in Berks County. Covenant Home Care changed its name in 2000 from Holy Family Home Health Care in Schuylkill County & St Joesph's Home Health in Berks County to Covenant Home Care. Covenant Home Care has been providing Hospice services in their respective offices since 1994. Covenant is affiliated with Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Schuylkill County, St. Joseph Medical Center in Berks County, and the Diocese of Allentown.
