The United Way of Boyertown Area's vision is to help build a stronger, healthier, more compassionate Boyertown Area Community. The mission is To improve lives of Boyertown Area resident by mobilizing the caring power of our community and to conduct efficient community-wide fundraising which helps meet the community's critical human health and service needs. Times are changing and our local United Way is changing too.

United Way of Boyertown Area leads, inspires, and mobilizes donors and volunteers to help provide solutions to essential health and human service needs which improve the quality of life in our community. Our continued success is a direct result of caring donors, dedicated volunteers and strong partnerships. Our 18 partner agencies continue to produce measurable results and create lasting solutions for those in need. Our agencies are required to report their outcomes and funding is determined by the agency's quality of services and community impact.
History:
The United Way of Boyertown was incorporated in 1958. Prior to this date, our office was known as the United Community Chest Fund of the Boyertown Area and was founded in May 1933. For the past 74 years, our office has been encouraging the collective strength of partnerships, and committed volunteers who feel passionately about changing our community to ensure we can deliver the best health and human services.
