History:
Easter Seals has a long history in Berks County and was first formed in 1947. Over the years, our mission has been expanded and we currently have been at our Reading location since 1972. Thanks to the Junior Federation of Women's Clubs and Boscov's as well as a large annonymous memorial gift our current office has been providing services since August 1, 1973. Easter Seals - Berks has long been considered an innovative and expert provider for children and young adults who experience developmental delays or are diagnosed with autism, cerebral palsy, congenital abnormality, mental retardation; other diseases; or due to injury. Our office is proud of its long history in Berks and looks forward to enhancing our current programs and facilities.
