 Berks Heim would like to incorporate Summer Youth into our Volunteer program in the following ways:
- Youth can visit Berks Heim and help with transporting residents to and from their doctor appointments (in-house) as well as to physical therapy and the beauty/barber appointments.
- They can take residents outside for a few minutes. We have seven units available for volunteers to help with. At 2:00 p.m. would be the perfect time for volunteers to take residents for a short walk outside, or to sit with them in the garden pavillions located in the Courtyards.
- Youth, families, and/or youth groups can sponsor BINGO parties throughout the summer. Our residents really enjoy these activities.
