Global Gain's mission is to systematically spread solutions to social problems plaguing extremely poor and marginalized groups around the world.

Description:
Global Gain works directly with non-profit organizations operating in developing countries. We help organizations that have developed successful solutions to social problems widen their impact by identifying and training partners to replicate and adapt them. We are particularly interested in programs that address child labor, human trafficking, poverty alleviation, and health. We also advocate for increased openness in the non-profit sector, so that the most promising solutions to serious social problems can be readily shared with others interested in adopting and adapting them.

History:
Global Gain was founded in January of 2006 by two doctors from eastern Kentucky and a young entrepreneur from Lexington. They created Global Gain as a cutting-edge organization that could spread innovative and entrepreneurial solutions to complex social problems, because they felt this was the most promising strategy for achieving sustainable positive impact.
