Shepherd's House Inc. is a 12-18 month licensed transitional living facility for adult males in recovery from substance abuse. We provide a therapeutic and structured environment that supports clients in regaining responsibility and accountability into their lives as they transition back into society.

Shepherd?s House is a 12-18 month transitional living facility for adult men that are battling an alcohol or drug dependence. Shepherd?s House is unique in offering structure and an intense therapeutic program, which is not often found in a prototypical ?halfway house?. Shepherd?s House assist clients in becoming more responsible and accountable to themselves, their family and the community. Shepherd?s House has become integrated with the local AA/NA community and utilizes the principles of AA/NA in its recovery program. All clients are encouraged to obtain employment, or volunteer if they are disabled, in an effort to pay their own rent. Shepherd?s House provides a multitude of services, including therapy from a licensed clinician, to address any issues that have resulted from clients history of substance abuse, including issues regarding family, employment, mental health, physical health, legal troubles and/or financial concerns. Shepherd?s House provides clients with an opportunity to put treatment knowledge into action as they slowly reintegrate back into their families and society. The ?Shepherd?s House? community continues to grow as we are able to provide lifelong support to clients that are in the program and those that have graduated.

History:
Shepherd's House admitted it's first client in 1989 and has worked with over 1,000 men on their road to recovery. Shepherd's House continues to try to expand and enhance its services to meet this overwhelming need in the community.
