The Center for Creative Living Adult Day Health Care program's mission is to provide quality affordable day healthcare services and recreational activities to frail seniors and their caregivers and to prevent premature or unnecessary placement in long-term care facilities.

Description:
The Center for Creative Living provides health and personal care services including nursing, nutritional, physical, speech and recreational therapies. To be a participant a person must be 60 years of age or older (physically, mentally and/or socially challenged). Participants enjoy a fun filled day of exercise, music, and various stimulating activities (games, crafts, entertainment, ball, field trips, parties) and socializing with friends.

History:
Established in May, 1973 as one of the first three Adult Day Health Care Centers in the United States and has served as a model for the establishment of additional community adult day care centers. Located within the Senior Citizen's Center (corner of Alumni and Nicholasville Rd)
