We are a non-profit school providing students with the opportunity to study and learn music. Since 1997, the Music Institute has offered students of all ages training in piano, guitar, voice, strings, etc. regardless of abilities and/or financial means. Our vision: Our weakest hands may someday make the strongest music!

Description:
We provide students with training in most all music disciplines using both traditional and Suzuki methods of teaching. Instruction is designed by the teacher to take into account the needs of each individual student. We also offer the most extensive early childhood music program for newborn through nine years of age, as well as a music therapy program for children and adults with special needs.

History:
The Music Institute of Lexington began in 1997 with the vision to provide musical instruction to Central Kentuckians regardless of age, previous experience and/or financial means.

Directions:

(1st) Coming from Nicholasville Road on Man o'War Blvd -- Pass through the Tates Creek Road intersection while traveling on Man o'War, go to the second stop light and turn left onto Trent Blvd. Go a couple of blocks and turn right into St. Martha's Episcopal Church campus (big sign on right). Park in second parking lot and walk down sidewalk to building #6. (2nd) If coming from Lexington on Tates Creek Road, pass under New Circle Road and count three stop lights. At third stop light, turn left onto Appian Way, go a little ways, then right onto Trent Blvd. Continue on Trent until you see a Marathon station on the right and at the top of the hill a large sign that says St. Martha's Episcopal Church. Turn left into Church campus, park in second parking lot and walk down sidewalk to building #6.
