The Kentucky Horse Park aims to provide a quality informational, recreational and educational experience, with the horse as its theme, for Kentuckians and visitors from throughout the world.

Description:
The Kentucky Horse Park is an equine theme park and competition facility dedicated to man's relationship with the horse. Set in more than 1,200 acres in the heart of Kentucky's famous Bluegrass region the park is 'THE' place to get close to horses! Home to 50 different breeds the park introduces you to the world of the horse. Experience the sights and sounds of a real working horse farm and enjoy the spectacular live presentations and horse shows throughout the year. As the only Park in the world dedicated to the horse, it offers visitors a chance to see a variety of breeds of horses in their daily routines, against a background of an immaculately kept Kentucky horse farm.

History:
For a quarter century the Kentucky Horse Park has been the world's only park dedicated exclusively to horses. For horse enthusiasts in both Kentucky and around the world, the land seems almost sacred ground.
Amongst the parks 200 horses are representatives of more than 50 breeds; the largest grouping of its kind in the world. For its just under one million annual visitors, the Horse Park stands as both a monument to the horse, as well as a bustling modern horse farm.
The land that is now the Kentucky Horse Park has a long, intricate history that has been passed down from a famous Indian fighter, to a dueling doctor, to a man who simply wanted fast carriage horses. Since that day, millions have visited the park.
