Our mission in Outreach Services is to provide library services to persons throughout Fayette County who cannot access or use library resources. We take the library out into the community, for the following groups:*Homebound adults and those in nursing or retirement centers.*Children and young people in day care centers, Head Start programs, special at-risk programs.*Adult literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL) learners.

Description:
Known as "The Branch without Walls" of the Lexington Public Library, Outreach Services' goal is to help underserved populations to become more familiar with library services and to provide them with the services they need.
