There are many opportunities for volunteers. Frequently, our residents need assistance with daily activities such as laundry, organizing rooms or things as simple as playing games or assisting with meals or cookouts. Residents also enjoy games, music and other types of activities.

We have a specific need for volunteers at a September 20 fund raising activities. We are having a music concert benefit and need a number of volunteers to assist us on that date greeting guests, selling and preparing food and crafts as a fund raising effort. The concert is free, but we will be raising funds through the selling of food and crafts and we need volunteers to help us with all these efforts from approximately 3:00 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 20.

There are not special requirements, just being able to spend a couple of hours a week with residents and giving them your attention.

 The Bob Brown House can be reached by traveling north on Broadway to Paris Pike past Interstate 75 approximately 1/2 mile and turn left on Rogers Road. You will than travel approximately 1/4 mile and the Bob Brown House is a one story building on your right just before you reach the city ball field and a city park on the opposite side of the street.
