Independent Transportation Network (ITN) is a nonprofit organization designed “to provide a community-based, community-supported, economically viable and consumer-oriented, quality transportation service for seniors and those with visual impairment.” As an ITNBluegrass volunteer driver, you will help make driving safer for everyone, ensure that seniors have reliable transportation without placing a burden on family and friends, and allow seniors to remain both independent and healthy. Because ITNBluegrass operates 24/7, there are numerous, flexible opportunities to serve. To become a volunteer driver, one must have been driving for at least 3 years, pass a criminal background check, and attend a brief training session. This opportunity is sponsored by: ITNBluegrass
