     Art Event Assistant

The event assistant will be responsible for assisting with planning for and implementing community art collaborations at events as scheduled by the Board of Directors of citizensCREATE!
Outline of Volunteer’s Responsibilities or List of Tasks:
Obtaining project supplies including soliciting donations and shopping.
Assisting with loading, transporting, unloading and setting up supplies at events.
Being available to assist during the events.
Assisting with clean up after events.
Event assistants will be briefed on logistics of the event prior to the event. They will be given the Mission and Guiding Principles of citizensCREATE! prior to the event. Members of the Board of Directors of citizensCREATE! will be in attendance at all events to provide support to the Event Assistant.

Event assistants will be asked to be available for several hours prior to the event to assist with supplies, during the event hours and for several hours after the event for cleanup activities. Event assistants will also be asked to attend a de-brief that could be several hours in length at some point after the event.

Event Assistants will be asked to attend any event de-brief to discuss their impressions of the event. They may also be asked to assist in the maintenance of a “guest book” during events that will track number of participants.
