CuzWeCare

Based on our commitment to diversity, creativity, and respect for others, CuzWeCare uses community outreach to enhance the comfort of anyone who needs it. We supply our goods to cancer, dialysis, orthopedic patients, shelters and children's hospitals.

Description:
CuzWeCare makes comfort polar fleece pillows for patients as well as other comfort items for those undergoing radiation or chemotherapy. All of our comfort items are provided to the recipients free-of-charge. Our comfort items are hand made by dedicated volunteers from diverse backgrounds who want to enrich the lives of those going through difficult times. All materials, supplies and labor are donated as well.

We seek support in the form of volunteers to help us create these items as well as donors who wish to help support our critical mission.

History:
CuzWeCare was established in December 2004 as a charity organization in the State of Connecticut and
we are now federally recognized as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

In our first two years of operation we have produced and distributed over 50,000 comfort neck pillows. These pillows have been distributed to local hospitals, cancer treatment centers, dialysis centers and to many individuals. Thus far, our distribution while focused in Connecticut, has spread from Maine to California.
