To provide orientation to Chinese newcomers to the Greater Hartford area.

Description:
The Chinese Culture Center is an over-twenty-year-old organization which was started to allow Chinese families to come together to promote and preserve their Chinese Culture. The Chinese Culture Center runs a Chinese Language School at Trinity College every Sunday afternoon during the School Year, which now has over two hundred and twenty students in kindergarten up to the second year in high school. There is also a special class for parents of adopted Chinese Children. It also sponsor a Chinese New Year Celebration attended by nearly four hundred families.

History:
The Chinese Culture Center was incorporated in 1980 with twenty families and had over six hundred families at the beginning of 2007.
