The Salvation Army's mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Our ministry is motivated by the love of God.
History:
The Salvation Army has been serving the people of New Britain since 1889 by providing food, clothes, emergency shelter to men and emergency disaster relief. The Salvation Army also provides guidance and structured activities for the residents of New Britain through different avenues. We provide weekly youth and womens programs, as well as, visitation to the senior citizens in the community. During the summer we provide camping programs for youth and senior citizens.
