Attend a New Volunteer Orientation to learn about volunteer opportunities in Blood Drives, Disaster Services, and Community Education Course Instruction. Respond to local DISASTERS (Disaster Action Teams) and/or nationally. We also have a great need for volunteers to assist with registration and refreshments at daytime BLOOD DRIVES throughout our 83 communities. PLEASE NOTE: PRIOR ENROLLMENT IS REQUIRED. Dates & times subject to change, seating is limited. WE TYPICALLY HOLD FARMINGTON ORIENTATIONS AT 11:00 A.M. AND 6:00 P.M. - please indicate your time preference. Allow extra time following the orientation if you wish to stay for an interview. To become a registered Charter Oak Chapter volunteer, you must attend a New Volunteer Orientation, have an interview with a Volunteer Manager, complete and return all required paperwork, pass a background check if age 18 or over, and have a confirmed placement in a volunteer position.
