Do you like to organize paperwork? (Alphabetize, file, collate, copy, etc.) Volunteers with your skills provide valuable support and enhance the efficiency of the various departments at Hospital for Special Care. You will have a chance to meet the staff who will truly appreciate your help. Come and volunteer once a week for 2-3 hours at a scheduled time that is convenient for you. Try it out for the fall. If you like it and are having fun, you are welcome to continue. Volunteer as a group. We can find placements for your friends, too. If you are interested, we send you an application to complete and return. After review of the application you are invited to come in for an interview. A TB test is given free of charge at the hospital, followed by orientation and training.
Accuracy in filing, copying and collating are a must. Full training and support are provided. An average volunteer time block might be 2 -3 hours per week on a schedule that is convenient for you.
