We currently have volunteer needs in the following areas:

• Licensed medical providers, such as physicians, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants as well as front desk registration clerks and HIV counselors to help staff our clinics. (Time: 4 Hours Per Month)
  
  
• Outreach Assistants to staff the HGLHC information table at health fairs and other community events. (Time: 8 - 10 Hours Per Month)
  
  
• Rainbow Room Facilitators to lead group discussions and/or activities for our youth program which meets on Sunday afternoons. (Time: 8+ Hours Per Month)
  
  
• Special Events Assistants to assist in implementing fundraising and major events, such as house parties, One Big Event, PRIDE, and Queer Prom. (Time: 5 - 10 Hours Per Month)
  
  
• Administrative Assistants to assist with general office work, such as mailings, filing, and data entry. (Time: 5 - 10 Hours Per Month)

Directions to HGLHC From I-84 West Take Exit 48, Asylum Street. At stop light, take a right onto Farmington Avenue. At the next light, turn left onto Broad Street. Follow Broad Street through eight lights until you cross New Britain Avenue. (The eighth light crosses New Britain Avenue.) 1841 Broad Street is a long brick building on the right hand side of the street. From I-84 East Take Exit 48B, Capitol Avenue At your first stop, take a Right onto Capitol Avenue. Take a Left onto Broad Street. Follow Broad Street through six lights until you cross New Britain Avenue. (The sixth light crosses New Britain Avenue.) 1841 Broad Street is a long brick building on the right hand side of the street. From I-91 North Take Exit 27, Brainard Road/Airport Road. Keep left at the end of the exit. Turn Left at the light onto Brainard Road. Turn Left at the next light onto Airport Road (which becomes Brown Street). Continue on Brown Street to Maple Avenue. Take a Right at Maple Avenue. Go one block and take a diagonal left onto Broad Street (just before the Citgo station). Proceed on Broad Street through four stop signs, the last of which will be Mountford Street. 1841 Broad Street is on the corner of Mountford and Broad Streets. 1841 Broad Street is a long brick building on the left hand side of the street. From I-91 South Take Exit 27, Brainard Road/Airport Road. Keep right at the end of the exit. Turn Right onto Airport Road (which becomes Brown Street). Continue on Brown Street to Maple Avenue.
