Do you love to knit? Would you like to teach your craft to women in need? Sacramento Area Emergency Housing Center is looking for 1 or more knitting instructors to teach at our women’s shelter on a regular basis. We have all of the supplies. We just need someone willing to show the women the basic stitches and patterns. A group of instructors or alternating instructors would be welcome. Come teach women who are escaping homelessness the best stress relief method around!
All volunteers will have a short interview (15 minutes) and be fingerprinted by the Department of Justice. This opportunity is sponsored by: Sacramento Area Emergency Housing Center (SAEHC)
