Heritage Place of Indianapolis, Inc. provides older adults with comprehensive and coordinated human services to encourage and promote healthy lifestyles, independence, well-being and quality of life.

Heritage Place provides offers 6 programs for older adults. 1) CAREGIVER SUPPORT SERVICES - We offer private consultations, consumer materials, referrals and general information for caregivers of older adults. 2) CARE MANAGEMENT - Trained staff assess the needs of older adults and provide case management and referrals. 3) FRIENDLY VISITING - Trained volunteers and staff visit homebound elderly to support their well-being. 4) HOME & YARD WORK - We provide light house cleaning and seasonal yard work services. 5) SENIOR CENTER - Open Monday through Friday, we offer a wide variety of interesting classes, educational programs, health services and social events. 6) TRANSPORTATION - Through volunteers and staff, we offer limited transportation to medical appointments, one-day trips, grocery shopping and Senior Center classes.
History:
Heritage Place, began in March of 1976 through the combined efforts of the Butler-Tarkington and the Meridian-Kessler Neighborhood Associations. We are a member of the United Way of Central Indiana family of agencies. We lease space in a facility jointly owned by the Faith United and the University Park Christian Churches.
