 Special Olympics Indiana - Marion County is in need of YOU! We offer 11 sports throughout the year and would love to have your help as a coach, scorekeeper or official. Our Spring sports are Athletics (track and field), Aquatics, Bocce, Power Lifting and Bowling. In the Summer we offer Softball and Golf. Fall is the time for Flag Football, Bowling, Aquatics, Soccer and Volleyball. And what would Winter be like without Basketball in Indiana? Each sport meets 1 evening a week for approximately 2 hours and culminates in an all day State Tournament. If you love to have fun and see lots of smiling faces then this opportunity is for you. Every volunteer must attend a 2-hour Coach/Volunteer Orientation within six months of their start date. This training is offered at various locations around Indianapolis approximately every 2 months. We offer a recommended, but not required, sport specific training for various sports throughout the year. This opportunity is sponsored by: Special Olympics Indiana - Marion County
