Hospice exists to provide support and care for persons in the last phases of incurable disease, so they might live as fully and comfortably as possible.

Overall Experience
I have helped people in rehabilitation centers while my mother was there and I enjoyed working with them, the elderly.

I don't have any experience but I would love to visit with disabled and elderly people to enhance the life that they have. I, myself, am disabled and cannot work. I sit home and wish there were someone to talk to or share time with. posted by lorraine52 on October 31, 2008 |
