Alley Cat Enterprises (ACE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the outdoor cat population. Working primarily in Trenton, ACE's mission is to trap, neuter and release feral cats that otherwise would be subjected to being hit by cars or fall victim to disease. Currently, ACE volunteers are providing food and basic veterinarian care to 7 (20 to 25) cats located in Trenton and other surrounding cities.
Description:
ACE is an organization that consists of dedicated volunteers to help reduce the stray cat population. ACE established and implemented an effective trap, neuter and release (TNR) in targeted areas within Trenton. This approach allows stray cats to be trapped, neutered and returned to their natural environment, thus allowing them to remain in their ordinary environment until they die of natural causes.
History:
ACE has only been operational for one year. During this time ACE has trapped more than 100 stray cats and returned them to their natural environment.
