Literacy Volunteers of Morris County believes that the ability to read and write and to comprehend and speak English is critical to personal freedom and the maintenance of a democratic society. The mission of LVMC is to promote increased literacy and fluency in English for adult learners at no cost through the effective use of volunteers, the provision of support services for volunteers and learners, and through collaboration with individuals, groups and any organization desirous of fostering increased literacy.
