Description:
North Jersey Developmental is a state, residential center for developmentally disabled service recipients. We offer every service that you would find in the community, such as recreation, adult education, psychology, social service, health care and much more.
History:
We were established in 1928 and the first institution in the state to admit mentally retarded infants. Our population aged and now the average age of our clients is 50. We have 41 buildings on over 200 acres of property and we have 1,200 employees. We never close -52 weeks a year, 7 days a week.
