History:
Panic Relief, Inc has been providing educational programs since 1994. We currently are setting up support groups throughout the United States based on the work that we have taught.

Panic Relief, Inc. was formed in 1994 for the purpose of educating individuals on various treatments for panic, anxiety and agoraphobia.

This organization’s techniques help its’ participants to live life to the fullest. Our program consists of workshops, seminars and individual consulting.

Anxiety disorders are the most common psychiatric illnesses affecting both children and adults, and affect an estimated 19 million adult Americans.

These disorders can be highly debilitating. Many sufferers are confronted by uncomfortable physical symptoms, including heart palpitations, sweating, trembling, shortness of breath, chest pains, nausea, dizziness, chills or hot flashes, tingling sensations, or a feeling of choking. Some sufferers would rather avoid any circumstances and/or situations which lead to these reactions, rather than suffer the feelings of physical distress. Such avoidance behavior can lead to agoraphobia, where one’s world becomes smaller and smaller. In extreme cases of agoraphobia, individuals may become housebound as a result of their desire to avoid their strong physical reactions to anxiety-producing situations.

Many mental health professionals estimate that although millions of people are affected by anxiety, agoraphobia and panic disorders, only about one third receive treatment. This lack of treatment is due to a combination of factors, including lack of knowledge, fear and stigma. Thanks to the programs offered by Panic Relief, Inc., many past program participants have been able to resume their prior normal lifestyles and now function effectively in their workplaces, homes and in society.

Panic Relief, Inc. now intends to significantly expand its’ number of lectures, workshops and adult education programs. Our goal is to make this program accessible to anyone who needs it.
