Cherry Tree Club, The

The mission of The Cherry Tree Club is to provide a high quality, free and accessible preschool program for homeless and at-risk children of Mercer County, New Jersey. We provide a loving, nurturing and safe environment that promotes healthy physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development, with the aim of creating a firm foundation for each child's future academic success.

Description:
The program serves children ages 2 1/2 through five years of age. Preschool hours are from 10 am to 3:30 pm. Transportation is provided from two sites. A healthy breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are provided.
Volunteers are needed to assist in the classroom and the kitchen. Classroom volunteers are asked to commit to volunteering 1 day/week, from 10 am-1 pm or from 2:30-3:30 pm. Kitchen volunteers are asked to commit to volunteering 1 day/week from 11:00 am-1 pm.
