The Alliance for Disabled in Action, Inc. is a Center for Independent Living whose mission is to support and promote choice, self-direction and independent living in the lives of people with disabilities, with the right of individuals to inclusion in the community as our primary goal.

Description:
The Alliance for Disabled in Action, Inc.(ADA) is a private, not-for-profit center for independent living serving people in Middlesex, Somerset and Union Counties of New Jersey. Initially created in 1986 as an Independent Living Resource Center (as part of JFK Johnson Rehabilitation), the Alliance was incorporated as a separate, private nonprofit organization in 1991.
