We need 100 volunteers to staff this very large event, attended by several thousand people. The first part of this evening includes performances of Japanese drumming and dance, gospel music, and time to inscribe a lantern shade with a personal message. At sunset, everyone gathers around Lake Hibiscus, in the center of the Cemetery's picturesque landscape, and sets their candle-lit lantern onto the water.

In 2008, the date of the Lantern Festival is July 17. There are a variety of jobs available.
