Pernet Family Health Service has been serving low-come families in the Green Island neighborhood in Worcester since 1968. We offer a variety of programs including a food pantry, maternal and infant nursing, after-school programs and parent support.

This summer we are excited to be offering free ESL classes to our clients with extremely limited English. In order to ensure that everyone who wants to can attend, we would like to offer childcare.

We will need people to provide childcare for any of the following sessions, on a weekly basis:

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays:
10:00-12:00
5:30-7:30

Volunteers should have some experience working with children, and must submit to a Massachusetts CORI. Individual circumstances will be taken into consideration.

Pernet is on the right at the corner of Seymour Street. The main entrance is on Millbury Street. There is on-street parking. From the South: Take Route 146 to the end. You will feed onto the road leading to the on-ramp to 290. Stay to the left and go under the bridge instead of onto 290. Take an immediate right after the bridge onto Millbury Street. Go one block. Pernet is on the right at the corner of Seymour Street. The main entrance is on Millbury Street.
