Pernet Family Health Service has been serving low-come families in the Green Island neighborhood in Worcester since 1968. We offer a variety of programs including a food pantry, maternal and infant nursing, after-school programs and parent support.
Right now we are in need of volunteers to spend 1-2 hours, 1 day per week working in our food pantry. Responsibilities include sorting and stocking food, cleaning and organizing the pantry, and making up bags for our clients.
Volunteers should be able to lift 20 lbs. and must submit to a Massachusetts CORI. Individual circumstances will be taken into consideration.
